How can we experience space and time beyond the sensory boundaries of consciousness? What is the nature of time and space? And how can we truly come to understand it?

These questions have been at the core of my artistic inquiry since the beginning of my practice, leading to an interdisciplinary research project titled Pendulum Project. It began with kinetic experiments, using the motion of pendulum as a hypnotic agent—one that might allow participants to enter a trance-like state. This experimentation evolved into a sound and kinetic installation called Time Machine, integrating hypnotic movement of pendulum with an architectural form intended to evoke forgotten memories from the preconscious stage of life.

This solo exhibition, ≪Space-Time Travel≫, features a new iteration of Time Machine—presented publicly for the first time—to experiment with altering the perception of spacetime.
