This small, totem-like sculpture was created using fragments and dust from a hardwood floor—materials collected by Mona, the dog I raised in New York. Though we are now physically apart, this piece still holds the scent, traces, and quiet memories of our first home together. It becomes a vessel of presence and absence, a tactile archive of shared time, intimacy, and loss.
