Hosu Lee explores the spiritual functionality of both ritual and secular objects to reproduce primitive sensations of body and emotion through sculptures, kinetics, and multimedia installations.

His major works include Pendulum Project—a long-term project initiated in 2017, researching on physical nature of space-time, and developing a series of kinetic installations called Time Machine to deeply transform our conscious perception that is anthropocentric, cultural, and socially-constructed. Another major work called Genesis Trilogy—a multimedia project based on the poem called "genesis" written through his automatic writing in 2018—remarks an initial departure of communication with his unconscious self.
