Hosu Lee was born in Daegu, South Korea in 1990 and currently based in both Chung-do, South Korea, and Brooklyn, New York. He received a BFA in Sculpture from the School of Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC) in 2019. He is a recipient of John Quincy Adam Fellowship (2018) and Merit Scholarship (2016-2019) at SAIC. In 2021, Hosu had two solo exhibitions <On the Verge of Consciousness> at the Greenpoint Gallery, Brooklyn, NY, and <시선 영원 속으로: Gaze into Eternity> at H.A.V.E Gallery in Chung-do, South Korea. Also, his works have widely been represented in group exhibitions at 440 Gallery, Brooklyn, NY, Black Box Gallery, Portland, OR, Sullivan Gallery, Chicago, IL, Flax Space, Chicago, IL, Sector 2337, Chicago, IL, Chelsea College of Arts, London, UK,  Institute für Alles Mögliche, Berlin, Germany, and Sumok'em Gallery, Daegu, South Korea.
